Our neighborhood got hit last night. Lucky, I am OCD about locking up and leaving nothing valuable over night in our vehicles. They got a few of our neighbors though.

Imagine going outside to your truck only to find out someone broke in it and stole your brand new shotgun and LEFT the shells. That's the story of my morning. Probably didn't need the shells. Pawn shop wont buy them. Your auto insurance may help, or if are NRA member you have $1000 of insurance automatically. I've used the NRA insurance once before, it was very easy. Just sent them a police report and retail price list from a local gun shop.

It was probably a black bear. Being reported a black bear wearing a safety harness was spotted near Gentry Dr. Sorry they got ur shotgun.

Honestly I have no idea. I always have my door locked. I woke up and the doors were unlocked. They left the pistol and my .308 but took the shotgun. Took the shotgun,but left a pistol and rifle laying there beside them?

It's not a matter of IF you will be a victim. It's a matter of WHEN. There are just too many lowlife thieves walking our streets these days. Killing is too good for them. I have more locks than I can could, but locks only slow them down. I hate it man, but I've been victimized too many times myself. THey git a Browning A-5 from me and a Remington 22 rifle. Fishing tackle, tools, a boat, you name it I've donated to criminals. I've had the police threaten me over threats to start shooting them or laying booby traps. You can't dwell on it, learn a lesson and move on.
