Hunting Black Warrior this morning in a draw that T’s a logging road in select cut hardwoods. It’s time for the big boys to be chasing out here. I got to get some scouting in today, because it looks like they have swapped food source since I was in here 3 weeks ago.

Put the boat in this morn and hit another ole faithful spot on wheeler, usually don't come in here til late December when the rut is going on, but they still come thru here hitting these acorns right now. Good luck.

I'm up on Doe patrol. Determined to kill a deer with my bow this year, before I pick up the rifle.

Someone had what looked like a camp fire by where I normally park on wheeler. Thought that was strange.

Had a nice 6 point come by at 8 40 yards no shot

I was going to try to get up to huntsville in time to hunt Wheeler this afternoon, but looks like that aint happening. Good luck guys. I'll be out on Wheeler tomorrow morning I think.
