Shot a buck sunday with 243 100 grain rem corelokt. Was a perfect shot and he was very close but the bullet never exited. He did only go 40 yards and it was a decent blood trail My daughter shot one with the American Whitetail (I think they use Interlock bullets) and it dropped in it's tracks. I gut the bullet out from under the skin on the opposite side.

The only ballistic tip bullet in .243 that I ever used is the Winchester Supreme Ballistic Silvertip in 95gr. It's absolutely devastating to the innards of a deer.
Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

Been using the Barnes 85 gr TSX over RL-19 in my 243 for years. Very accurate, always an exit wound, and work really well. No complaints about them.
