I was concerned about blood never have had a problem with the 90gr that I have shot but they have never hit one in the shoulder either. Where do you shoot them?

I was concerned about blood never have had a problem with the 90gr that I have shot but they have never hit one in the shoulder either. I think the 90 grain has a heavier jacket. Most light for caliber ballistic tips are suited more towards varmints and maybe antelope. With the exception of the 120 grain 7mm one which has a very heavy jacket

I’d keep the 75 gr for target or varmints, the 90 and 95 ballistic tips are for deer sized game.
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Probably have many of them drop in their tracks, but those that do not will leave no blood trail. I'm not even happy with the Hornady American out of the .243 for the same reason. I'm going back to old faithful Corelokt. I’ll never shoot another American Whitetail in any caliber. Stuff is horrible.
