My friend put the snack down on this one Thursday evening here on Fort Bragg. He was set up in some oaks and had two does come in and this big boy was right behind them. The Biologist aged him at 5.5 and weighed in at 155lbs (the deer, Bennett is isn’t even close to 155 lol). Bennett uses some unconventional methods sometimes but it definitely pays off. He’s taught me a lot about bownhunting and hunting Fort Bragg in last few years. I know he want see this but congrats BT!

We do have some good ones they are hard to hunt but can be worth it. If your up this way it would be worth checking out.

I’ll definitely look into it. I bought my lifetime license for NC before I left so I still hunt there when time allows. Killed a small buck in Uwharrie during the muzzleloader season. Getting to Bragg wouldn’t be much more of a drive really.
