One of my first couple deer hunts was one of those muzzleloader hunts. It was awesome. Kilt about a 65lb doe. I handed the gun to my father because I was too little and couldn't see over some brush. While we were arguing about who was going to shoot the deer ran up the hill a little bit where I could see it and he handed it back to me... Boom. Never forget that. First deer I ever kilt with a smoke pole. I remember my Dad picked it up and hung it on a tree to gut it by the back legs with one hand. That's like a duck hunter living in Arkansas next to Bayou Meto and telling me he ain't never hunted it.... Things that make you go... Huh.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
