Didn’t we have doe days right after Christmas? Wasn’t it just a few days?
Yes , but not until mid 80s . I went to a CAB meeting in Gulf Shores representing the Jackson County Sportsman's Club and asked for the "doe days" . They granted a few days during the Holidays the following season . Dang, all along people blamed the doe slaughter on insurance companies, but 2dogs started it all!  Yep , that was me. We been banging the hell out of em for 30+ years and ain't killed em all out of these hills yet.
