This male nurse, who named his truck panda bear, and needs Peter Gabriel to calm his nerves sounds like a pecker puffer to me.
I'd say the real hero is the "still unidentified badass" on the dozer who cleared the roadway for Peter puffer to get in and out of town again. Of course you would find something negative to say.  I wasn't negative at all, I think the dozer operator did a hell of a job, deserves some recognition for his efforts.
