I understand what people mean by this, but last year I killed 3 on land that I hunted for free, with a bow that I've owned for 4-5 years now, without having to buy new arrows, and processed it all myself. There really wasn't any cost other than my license.

Again, I understand why people say it, but it doesn't HAVE to be expensive.

If your time is valuable to anyone (you, your family, your employer, your kids, your spouse) it has to be expensive. If you buy any supplies, bow, tree stand, bullets, arrows, flashlight, binoculars, camera, fuel Hunting is expensive
