It amazes me how many folk never understood that our bodies are the heater and all we have to do is regulate its loss and fuel it.
The most effective way I have found to keep warm is a good insulated beanie cap and a neck gaiter. Neck gaiters are great. I've got a drake beanie cap that will flat out burn me up, I can't hardly wear the damn thing even in single digit temps. lol I have the same beanie cap. Only put it on once I get in my stand and it's well below freezing.

I have a Milwaukee heated jacket and I love it! I've had it for several years and it still works great. It runs off of the 12v drill batteries. I typically get 2-4 hrs per battery...depending on heat setting. I like not having to wear a bunch of layers. I would highly recommend it if you get real cold like I do. Honey Lou Lou should have some suggestions on this.
Probably keeps the remote for the in his purse  The three of y'all are known to be no-count scoundrels and perVjerker is y'alls mangy ringleader.  Having gotten that out of the way: #1 I have heard good things about the Milwaukee Heated stuff though I ain't used it. I don't wanna be tied to or worry about batteries. #2 JohnnyLoco is correct (even a blind hog finds an akern every now and again). I LOVE the Sherpa stuff from Drake, Rivers West, etc. But nothing will beat the Cabelas Whitetail Extreme Stuff for super cold sits but you gotta pack it in. I have an IWOM that is amazing too. For Alabama crazy cold to super hot in one day Get a moisture whicker as base, then go with a MERINO mid-layer (Ice breaker, Minus 33, First Lite etc.), then maybe a sherpa lined water proof outer layer. #3 It's a Fanny Pack ((Just has a long strap )) and not a purse (you can't prove other wise.)  #4 Think I'll call Perch right now on the phone and cuss him out.

It's routinely in the low 30's to 20's in January, sometimes the teen's and single digits where I hunt. Some people are cold natured, some are hot natured, and then there's the one's of us that are getting older

I like to hunt the coldest days possible but normally afternoons as I have kids with me anytime I hunt and it's just easier.
