Hey guys. I'm looking to buy a new O/U shotgun at Academy. Has anybody had any luck out of these Yildiz shotguns? Also, should I go with the 12 or 20 gauge for quail and dove? Thanks guys!

I have the Yildiz 12ga O/U. Excellent dove and quail gun. Hauled it to Canada for several years to hunt partridge and grouse. It is lightweight and easy to tote. Shoots nice!

Thanks guys for the feedback! I purchased the shotgun over the weekend. It's super light and actually feels like a better fit than the more expensive guns at BPS. Looking forward to shooting it ASAP.

I looked at the 20ga for my wife but was told it kicked like crazy. It does with 2&1/8oz of tss Dang Austin! I only shoot 2oz loads in 12ga.

Would it make a good Skeet gun for someone on a budget? I have been thinking about purchasing one myself or a Beretta A300.

It is an excellent clays gun. My son shoots the 12 in our 4H club. He won individual high overall for the state this past April with it. A lot of our members shoot them.
