Ex said it was about 100 mph at her house for about 20-30 minutes...slacking off, now. She said they've lost all the trees in their yard and a bunch to the side of them...nothing on the house, don't know about the cars...not going outside to look, yet! Her husband is a big, fun-loving loud viking from Minnesota, and if this wasn't his first go with a hurricane, it was sure the most intense! In most of the videos she's sent, I can hear him in the background whooping and hollering! *LOL*

Eye wall passed about 3 miles from their house. She said it was bad, but definitely NOT a cat 4 or 5 storm.

I've seen a few posts elsewhere from people who "are scared" about what might happen to their homes between PCB and Appalach.
I don't understand these folks.
Your house and stuff probably will be gone, period. You'll have a slab. Or rubble. You're not going to go back to find it the way you left it.

How can you say it’s not a Cat 4 or 5 when all the data says otherwise? probably on the western side....

Dozens of stations showing 60-75 mph winds, 1 showing 100 mph. A couple could be malfunctioning, but all of them? And when they go offline, that shows, too. City of St. George station recorded a max windspeed of 64 mph, but had a 2 hr gap in the record at the peak of the storm.
Mexico Beach to Apalachicola stations are almost all down, and they were on the east side of the storm, so they certainly had it worse, but 100 mph 3 miles out of the eye wall is not cat 4 or 5 at ground level. At 4500 feet, sure, I could buy that, but who gives a sh!t about 4500 ft. on the coast?

I'm watching Facebook videos from folks in PC that aren't that bad. My Dad is about 70 minutes west of there and he's outside picking up pecans.

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I'm sure those people don't give a rats ass that there wasn't a functional wind station at the exact location of the highest wind gusts.

You heard it here first, folks. NHC data is made up and it didn’t blow the roof off of Jethrene’s trailer house so Michael will be downgraded to a CAT 1.
