Best chicken I have ever had was at that old log restaurant near Eutaw in the 70's, the menu said "Only a rooster ever got a better piece of chicken". Chicken Shak is dang good tho.

There was a chicken shack in Triana but I don't think it sold chicken more of a beer and boobies place rough and tumble get in a fist fight deal

chicken shack has the best cole slaw in alabama, in my view, and some of the best chicken salad anywhere. i don't much care for chicken fingers anywhere. their regular fried chicken dark meat is third behind red's little school house in pine level, and it don't matter in highland home ...

In my younger days we'ed hit that one after all the clubs closed in the rocket city, Rough place for sure. Don't know if it is still around.

Chicken Shack is good but I'd prefer Red's. If choosing between the three mentioned I'd do Red's, Chicken Shack then Tin Top. Last time I was in Tin Top I believe they had canned veggies or so it tasted like it to me.

Chicken shack is good and consistent. I don't drive over just to eat at the Shack but will stop and grab something when over that way. I like it all but the kickin chicken has always been pretty darn good when you want spicy.
