Moore might ride a horse and show his ass but we wouldn’t be talking about his voting the communist party line. Moore had already shown, on multiple occasions, that he would break his oath to uphold the duties of the office he was sworn to uphold. Basically, if he decided that he didn't want to do what he'd already sworn to do, he simply wouldn't. To the point where he was removed from office. That's all good and great if "what he wants to do" matches your beliefs, but what if he went the other direction? Would you still have been happy with his decisions to break his oath? If you take a job and swear to the people of your state to uphold those duties, and suddenly those duties are in violation of your personal beliefs, you step down. You don't simply say "F**k you, I'm gonna do it my way". The howdy doody, cowboy hat/horse/flash my gun at a rally bullchit was nothing more than pandering to the lowest common denominator of his constituency....the worst part about it was that he truly believed the general public was stupid enough to fall for it. Unfortunately, a lot of people proved him right.

Someone conservative, who has the best interests of Alabama and Conservatism at heart, has the time to serve...someone who doesn't mind giving back what he gets in a disagreement, and could probably use a job out of the heat for awhile... If Jones had half a brain, now that he see's the confirmation is inevitable even if he votes "No", he'd vote "Yes" just to have some sort of ammo in 2020. But, then, nobody accused him of having even half a brain.

Sorta what I got across in my email to him. I said if he wasnt intelligent enough to recognize the Ford woman had series issues and lost credibility with her FALSE claims of fear of flying he wasnt smart enough to hold that office.
