270wsm OP 14 point 2 Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 6,869 Fairhope, AL	My dad put down this wounded 8pt on Sunday morning. A Dr. buddy said the wound looked to be 1-2 weeks old. I assume buck traveled 2+ miles after being shot since we only have one neighbor and they did not shoot him. You could smell wound from 25 yds away and it was covered with maggots! My dad hated shooting this poor guy, but he needed to be put out of his misery. Would've been a stud in 2 years....2.5yr old 120lb 8pt with three 1" stickers
