Make sure it’s not a metal roof on top of shingles.
Wouldn't have thought they'd even do that. Why, specifically, is that bad?
It cuts down on the expense of having to take all the old shingles off. As far as I'm aware, every metal roof I've known has just went right over the existing shingles.
