Just depends on what you are looking for. CMP is awsome but you do have to pay. The place above Attalla is free but you do have to at least have a Wildlife Heratage or hunting or fishing liscense. CMP has the automatic targets so you never have anybody walking down range. Worst part about it is they usually have something on the counter in the shop there just calling my name. I resisted last time. A Garand in .308 may just come home with me one day.

You should try out Warrior Ranch in Brookwood. Shouldn’t be too far from where you hunt in Vance. They have steel targets out to 520 yds with plans to have steel targets out to 600 yds.
