I just sowed some mixed greens in one plot and planted 12 collard plants and 6 Cabbage Collard plants in another. It's been dry up here so I've been watering them. I'm looking forward to some fresh greens and cornbread!! The bugs got into them last year. My dad to told me to sow some radishes in with the greens and it would keep the bugs out. He always had a good patch so I gave it a try. Do tell? I have never heard of that & rec'con I too may just give that a try!! That big ole octagon bed where I planted mustard and collards was where my zinnias were planted and I have a ton of volunteer zinnia plants coming back too. Oh well, this too shall pass. Thanks for the tip!
Be kind to one another and tell the ones you love that you love them often. We never know what tomorrow will bring.
