Glad there were no injuries . I made these blocks to prevent the problem you experienced. That’s a good idea! Do the blocks not wedge under the trailer when you put a load on it? I wondered the same for a moment then thought about how the tractors weight should be centered forward of the trailer's axles. The hitch end should drop therefore raising the rear of the trailer. Now, depending on the strength of the springs and the weight of the load, it still may pinch the chocks under the trailer, but in most cases, I'd bet you could drive off of them.
