Check circuit breaker on pump. It is SUPPOSED to be on a separate circuit from the alarm.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

get you some rubber gloves and check floats. These can become stuck due to grease build up especially if you have a Garbage Disposal.
Check breaker to pump, reset if tripped. If trips again and you are confident in yourself, pull pump out and check for clog at bottom cutterhead.
feminine products are the most probable cause however I've seen everything from toys to towels stuck up in there.
Good luck.

This. Or the pump itself is clogged or not working.

Some of those pumps, the plugs are piggy backed.. If so, the front plug is just for the float and the back plug is the pump. Unplug them and plug the pump straight to power, see if that helps.

Or it could be hard wired in

And the winner is...

Piggy backed plugs had worked themselves out of the plug. slap It pays to look when the sun is out.

My light has been on for a couple months now.

I pulled the lid when it first came on and nothing was wrong. I made sure the float and pump were functioning properly, which it was, then sealed it back up.

I should probably call a plumber and get them to come on out. Havenโ€™t had chit flood the house yet so I guess itโ€™s still working;)

I went to a wedding of a member on here a couple of years ago. It was held ay a large very nice home. We got there early to help out. We had stopped at Cracker Barrel on the way and I had the country fried steak dinner. I hit the basement bathroom. Any way the toilet wouldn't flush. I was embarrsed as hell. Found my buddy and he tells me it happens all the time here. Went into a storage closet and he banged the drain pipe and the pump came on but there was definantlly a mess and had been for awhile.
