I haven’t bought any residential stuff in years so I’m not up to date on what it cost. You need to get electrical contractor to look at and price it. Don’t let anybody who says he’ll do it for $300 on your property.

That's a 2500.00 job in central fla all day long....I've been an electrician for 38 years and have owned my own business for almost 20 yrs...…..material for that would cost as follows outside metermain with overhead riser and j box for under panel with connections to metermain and new grounding….450.00 to 500.00 . a new run of ser aluminum service cable say 2/0 for a 150 amp panel or 4/0 for 200 amps depends on distance could cost 350.00 to 500.00 . inside panel and breakers 150.00 to 200.00 and that's just material......throw another 1000.00 for labor and your right inbetween what the other guy said 2000.00 and my original quote of 2500.00.

The utility company will provide a new meter socket at no cost.
But that's still a $2000 job easy.
