I don't think I could catch fish at Neely offshore if my life depended on it. The last time I fished Guntersvile (about 3 weeks ago) I never fished closer than a half mile from the bank. Fished Neely the following day tried ledges for hours zip nothing nota. I know it's not Guntersvile but I just can't make it happen there. Carolina rig, ned rig or yum dinger on a shakey head. I got some 1/8oz jigs last year from a guys that makes them his own way. Not a regular jig design. Put a dinger on that and throw it off ledges or rocky points when they are pulling current, spots will destroy it. This right here ^^^^
