We buy a whole ribeye from Costco and i cut are own then vacuum seal all of them 2 per pack then freeze. They are the only place we buy from as they've got some nice cuts. I'll grab a pack or 2 then as they're thawing I'll marinate them in Moore's/dales for 24 hrs and when i throw then on the 500° grill I'll sprinkle them with Weber carne asada seasoning and sear for 3-3.5 minutes on one side then flip and repeat process. I can't eat another steak as I've not found one that can compare in taste\tenderness. Each steak I'll cut will be around 16-18oz average and 1-1.25" thick.

I am sure Me P's could hook you up. Who Dat? I think he meant Mr P’s on shades crest. Me and my daughter grilled a couple of ribeyes from there Friday night. Hard to beat a ribeye from Mr P’s. This is it. Best around.

Costco. Prime and choice beef, pork belly, or basically whatever you want. They have meats you cant find anywhere else. Tell me somewhere else you can find a whole prime hanger steak.

Depends on size but we normally pick one up for $150-220. If I'm the one that happens to go to Costco and pick one out its going to be on the upper end of the scale. I also like their burger as it's 88/12 and haven't found anywhere else that cooks/taste like theirs. All are steak, chicken, burger, pork loin comes from Costco. We get are bacon(conecuh) and sausage(conecuh) from a store by the house in bulk also. They cut us a dang good deal if we buy each by the caae

I am so sorry. But every time I see the name of this thread, USDA Prime, I can’t help but think of something like this:

NY Butcher Shop in Cahaba Heights. The Piggly Wiggly in either Crestline or Liberty Park. Mr. P's in Bluff Park. Cosco in Hoover.
I prefer the Pig in Liberty Park. If you can get by there in the mornings around 9AM, that's when they mark down their older stuff for sale. I've gotten plenty of waygu and prime cuts down there for 1/2 price.

Ol' T.J. Best had some dayum good meat back in the day. The steaks were the best I've ever had and the chicken was about half the size of the steroided up stuff you get at Publix. Wish I had a TJ Best ribeye and some Robby's Best seasoning on it tonight.
