If you own the property, install a ditch to lower the water table. Drain tiles would also work but cost a lot more $.

We have a bottom field that my dad put a ditch in back in the 60s. When he died, I decided the ditch was in the way and did away with it. A couple of years later, I hooked up the plow and put the ditch back in exactly where he had it. Sometimes you gotta learn the hard way.
