MSU pitching was suspect all along. Their hitting is what saved their hides in the regional and super regionals. Wheels were bound to come off at some point. Should have won that 3rd game but giving up 5 runs with 2 outs is just about inexcusable. Their pitching was solid from that point on but the damage was done early.
Dr. B I thought they made a good run, for a team that wasn't even gonna make the SEC tournament until they swept Florida that final series. Definitely, a whirlwind kind of season. Maybe the new coach will be able to get them back there next season. That new coach does not have that good of a record. They should have kept dancing with the one that got them there.
