Just passed a nice little 7 pt. He was in easy bow range. He was out crusing and cut the trail of a doe I seen earlier. The chase was on!!

Congrats Squeaky! That's a nice bow kill in Bama! I must admit I did not get the buck with my bow. I rifled hunted that big crop field due to not having a good wind for any of my bow sets. I have bow in hand this morning though.

Nothing wrong with that deer Mike, I'll be up Monday night. I got hunters for a couple days then from Thursday on it's all me. Will be in touch before then. Those fields there are hard to bowhunt but their full of arrowheads tho!

Would that be around the old Sugar Bottom place (Minter tract), kinda close to the Gin? I have some friends that hunt that area. Across road from the Beers! Great area if so, good luck with the big bucks!
