Lots of funnies...but seriously why has every (yes EVERY) Ipsc world and national title been won with a 1911? (Or derivative CZ 75 or Browning High Power) Answer people that shoot fast and we'll shoot 1911's better than Glocks. Look it up as Casey Stengel used to say. I would say that's it's just easier to shoot fast and well with a one pound single action trigger than even a modified 3 to 5 pound striker design. It doesn't necessarily carry over to every day SD though.
