I know this may be like asking chevy or ford but was wondering whats yalls preference. I like the 1 piece of the dnz so hopefully lapping wont be needed but i also like the fact that each ring has 4 screws on the talley. I currently dont have a way to lap the rings but im not opposed to buying the tools needed if i need to. Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

I have both and there both very good mounts. But to me the Talley just look better on a rifle. I've got Talley on a 300 mag and DNZ on a 45/70 and both have been rock solid.

I'd get the Talley. If the gun is drilled straight you won't need to lap them. DNZ are very good mounts, they are just ugly

There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... Those who have been F#CKED by PTG and those who will be!

All my rifles get DNZ mounts. They're rock solid and foolproof

I have DNZ mounts on all of my encore barrels. Good mounts.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Talley one piece. I've got them on three rifles and really like them. Haven't lappped a one. As stated I think they look better. Life's too short to shoot ugly rifles.

Both are good mounts, both will hold your scope securely, only one will look good when you're done, I'd go Talley.

Talley lightweights for the win. Never had a problem with them, and I have installed over 100 sets.

( I do precision scope mounting )
