Whats funny about the ole guys that said that a plastic guns were junk in the 90's and now polymer pistols are 85 percent of all the pistol sales. A 1911 is a fine gun but it is not the standard to measure up to, and half the people that run their mouths about how great their 1911's are haven't put 500 rounds through them in 10 years. I like Glocks and that is what I buy because the price point is fair and it is one hell of a product. The number one safety system on any pistol is the trigger and good gun safety practice.
