All you had to do is have her walk off. If she isn't there they can't ask to see it. Back in Texas in March we had a buggy full of beer for our week's stay and I heard the check-out woman say she needed to see everyone's ID. I just walked away. Stupid rules. This probably is something akin to "common sense beer laws,"
