that started right after Cali legalized. the dispensaries dont grow alot of what they sell they buy alot from licensed grower and there is no over sight on how much they grow they can grow 10 lbs and sell five to the dispensary for market then sell the other 5 in another state for a huge mark up. some of that stuff is 20-25 dollars a gram an ounce is 28 grams imagine the profit. i got a buddy that moved to california to grow i though he was being a dumbass now he suplies a couple dispensaries and even has his own strain.
