The bow has been used very little until now. But when I draw it back it creeks at about half draw and then when I get full draw I get a little pop. I've been advised to cover the wheel and cam it 15w-40 rotella but that seems a little extreme but he swears by it. Alternatives?

I don't know what you mean by covering in oil. You might try some 3-in-1 oil on the cam/idler axles. Don't get the oil on the string. Also make sure your string and cables are tracking in the idler wheel and cam properly. Make sure the cam module screws are snug and properly seated.

Thanks! It worked great. I just knew it was $100 if it went to the dealer.
