That AC Delco battery may have been a great one, but IMO a group 27 battery is way undersized for any trolling motor. I agree, I have a 12v 45lb Minnkota Edge and I bought group 27 and I wish I would have gotten a 29 or 31. Anyone have experience with a Duracell Ultra Deep Cycle. I did some research and Batteries Plus has the group 31 for $110 with a bunch of good reviews.
