I can’t believe the honor I have received in being part of Tom Kelly’s last hunt as well as his last chapter and last book. I am flying out tomorrow to Maryland. The emotions I’ve been dealing with have been more than overwhelming, I’m excited and at the same time wishing this wasn’t his going to be his last hunt. I’m sure come Saturday morning I will be an emotional wreck. Please say a prayer for Tom for a successful hunt, and be watching for the announcement of when it will air on the NWTF Turkey Call... I hope I don't know when my last hunt comes until it happens. He is 90 years old. Had already donated all his shotguns to the NWTF last year after his estate sell. He has moved to Bethesda, MD and is living with his daughter... That truly is a great honor. I had read a while back that he used some kind of Holo sight on his turkey gun. Is the gun in the pic gonna be set up for him some way?
I might give away most of my guns, but my wife can do something with my turkey gun AFTER I am gone. I plan to bribe an orderly in my nursing home to roll me out and take me turkey hunting somehow.
