Depends on where I’m hunting. Very picky years ago when I had good land to hunt. Now I’m doing good to be able to get in 3-4 hunting days a year and I like to have meat in the freezer. So if it’s legal and land owner allows it I’m pulling the trigger

When I see a buck, if there is a question in my mind as to whether or not to shoot him, I don’t. It’s the ones that I don’t even have to think about it that I shoot. That’s what makes me happy.

Brown it’s down, simple.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Management system, if I manage to get my scope on him and want to shoot him I do.

I shoot what makes me happy and MATURE bucks makes me happy. Shooting an immature buck makes me not happy!!! I support management and I don't have to kill a buck to have a great hunt!!

Easy. If I see one I want to shoot, I shoot it. I'm not a trophy or antler hunter, so age/rack doesn't matter to me. That said, way more often than not, I don't shoot them at all. Last buck I killed was a young(ish) 7 point in January 2010, first of only 2 times I even got to go that season. When I first saw him, he was coming straight towards me and I'd decided not to shoot him. After trying to wave him off twice and even hollering at him to try to get him off the scent trail he was tracking, he still came straight to me, so I changed my mind and shot him. Usually prefer to just watch them, and when I do shoot a deer, usually prefer does.
