Well, I missed one this morning with my 410. Back in the cabinet for that thing till I put some more on the ground. Turkey worked good right off the roost. Shot at him at 6:55 standing within 5 yards of where I figured he'd show up. I hear ya - at least he came and was acting right. That’s good to hear. The couple places I hunt are really slow right now - it’s been a grind for sure. Had a good opportunity opening morning, but couldn’t close the deal. Hadn’t found a workable bird since. Just gonna stay after it.
