Not all diseases affect everyone the same way. It's one of the major hurdles for researchers developing treatments for cancer and neurological diseases. What might strike one person and become terrible in five years might stretch to 10 or 15 in another.

Plus, he had access to medical research at the highest levels. Who knows what kinds of treatment he underwent that we don't know about or could be in trials.


The point I was trying to make is God is still in control irregardless of how smart a person is or what he thinks he knows.
