The new Bass Pro opened this past week and it sure is nice! They got a good Hunting section on the 2nd floor. You can even shop for a while , then stop in the resturant/bar and have a cold one while you rest up. Now I can go and get hands on shopping for all my hunting NEEDS. toast smile

I was up there tonight. I got a new pair of binoculars and also happened to run into Bill Dance in the parking lot as we were leaving and my little boy got his name on his hat. He had been inside at a signing booth.

I didn't see many sales, but there is a lot of stuff for sale.

I plan on checking it out this weekend if Gustav doesn't interfere.

scrubbuck what kind of binos did you buy? I have a pair of the Zeiss Victory 8X56 T* P* but I would love to have a set of the Leica Ultravid HD 8X42's they have for sale at the BPS Spanish Fort.

I bought the Nikon Monarch 10x42. They are not the best that I have ever looked through, but not bad. They have a 25 yr full warranty.

They had a pair of 10x36 that I liked the looks of, but they were a little less bright.

If they make it through half the abuse that I have put my old pair of Nikon Actions through, then it will be well worth the money. I've had that pair for about 15 years and they still work fine.
