No more Field & Stream/DSG. Period. Done with them, unless they reverse this horse chit Field & Stream is not related to Dick's Sporting Goods at all Dick's Sporting Goods owns a brand called Field & Stream Incorrect,"Field & Stream is a retailer of hunting, fishing, camping, and related outdoor recreation merchandise that is a subsidiary of Dick's Sporting Goods. Despite its name, the retailer has no association with Field & Stream magazine, the seminal outdoor publication, founded in 1895. There is widespread public confusion about this point, and the retailer has done little to dispel the mix-up. "On February 28, 2018, Field & Stream announced that it will no longer sell assault-style rifles, also known as modern sporting rifles; and it will no longer sell high-capacity magazines. Field & Stream said it would no longer sell firearms to anyone under the age of 21. Field & Stream said it has never, and will never, sell bump fire stocks that allow a person to modify a semi-automatic firearm to fire more rapidly.[10]"

Does anyone ever actually buy anything at Dick's?

Does anyone ever actually buy anything at Dick's? I used to drop close to 1k per year on fishing gear, etc. When they pulled their stunt after Sandy Hook I have not spent a dime.

I could appreciate their right as a company to not sell a certain product. But when they issue a statement advocating for the restriction of my 2nd amendment rights, Fugg em. I liked the field and stream store in Birmingham and their ladder stands are the best value I've found. I will not be shopping there again. I hope ALL hunters will follow suit and put them out of business. This is my thinking too ^^^ ... On a separate issue, the first the ATF tells a new FFL or an old one for that matter I would assume, is we have the right to refuse a sale to anyone for any reason...If you came in wearing an AU T shirt and I felt that indicated you were mentally unstable ( ) I could refuse to sell/transfer a firearm to you and there is nothing you could do about it.... I didn't realize who I quoted when I posed that scenario, but it fit so I went with it ...

Does anyone ever actually buy anything at Dick's? I have spent a grand total of $30 there. I haven't been in the store in a couple of years.

They're pretty high and normally their selection is par at best. In FL they had buy one get one sales on lures and I would clean up. Their prices were competitive on fishing gear. I lived in Tampa and had to drive along ways to BP Shop.

Why not just stop selling them? Without a press release. Just don't put them out. How many people would have really noticed? Not near as many as do now. Not as good for public relations. Also to bring in more folks spending money "in support" of their decision. It's about PR and money.

Does anyone ever actually buy anything at Dick's? I bought one gun at Dick's and they acted like it was the first one they ever sold.
