Incorrect,"Field & Stream is a retailer of hunting, fishing, camping, and related outdoor recreation merchandise that is a subsidiary of Dick's Sporting Goods. Despite its name, the retailer has no association with Field & Stream magazine, the seminal outdoor publication, founded in 1895. There is widespread public confusion about this point, and the retailer has done little to dispel the mix-up.

"On February 28, 2018, Field & Stream announced that it will no longer sell assault-style rifles, also known as modern sporting rifles; and it will no longer sell high-capacity magazines. Field & Stream said it would no longer sell firearms to anyone under the age of 21. Field & Stream said it has never, and will never, sell bump fire stocks that allow a person to modify a semi-automatic firearm to fire more rapidly.[10]"
