2 parts red trace mineral, 1 part di-cal phosphate . I usually put 1 50lb bag of trace mineral and 1/2 bag of di-cal. There is NO need to add more salt, as red trace mineral is about 90% salt.

Whatever ya use don’t use trophy rock for they are over 90% salt. Antler King is a pretty good one and so is Grandpa Ray Outdoors mineral. Both have good calcium and phosphorus content.

If the "bait bill" passes will it be legal to use a red mineral block in sight for deer? Cbosch I usually take trace mineral loose salt and mix 50/50 with Di-Calcium Phosphate. This^^^ mixture

i remember seeing similar recipe on here. I remember one of ingredients was supposed to be non-medicated. Was the trace or dical?

Dig a hole about 24" x 6" deep. Mix twi parts trace salt to one part dical. Pour mixture in the hole and mix with the dirt.
