I didn’t find a club last year that met the criteria of what I was looking for so the $500 reward is back up for grabs If you get me in a club that meets what I’m looking for.

I don’t mind spending $6500 or a little more a year for a club that meets the criteria of what I’m looking for. I’m looking for a club in the Tombigbee or Alabama River swamp. I don’t get to Deer or Turkey hunt much due to work so I’m more interested in the club having a high population of hogs that I can hunt with my dogs during the off-season. I don’t hunt with a big group of people Most of the time it is just me and a couple cur dogs. I would like for the club to be good Deer and Turkey hunting for the few times I get to hunt per year ( I Deer hunted this year a grand total of 3 mornings and 4 evenings.) I also would like for the club to be Trophy minded and aim to kill mature bucks and let the young ones grow. I would prefer the club to have a camp but it’s not a deal breaker if it doesn’t. Afoa has some really nice places, its still a little early tho. Be plenty if places come available between april and june.

I’m not looking for a average club. Im in one of the better clubs in Choctaw county but I’m trying to get in one of the bigger clubs on the river with a nice camp and rights to Turkey hunt. I have been trying to get in one of these clubs for 5 years and I’m on the waiting list for a couple but still haven’t made it to the top of the list because people don’t get out of clubs like that.

Man I sure appreciate the offer but I got to have hogs. I know everyone says that they hate the non native species that has been around for hundreds of years. Lol. But I sure enjoy having a constant supply of pork and the enjoyment of training and watching good dogs work.

Have you looked into Woods Bluff Hunting Club on the Tombigbee...we have a lil land that is right next to theirs and we are covered with hogs on and off, but only hear about them killing hogs all the time

Well I have tried to get contact information on a club or lease on the river for a few years for free and have turned up very little information and the little information I did get the clubs were full so it can’t hurt to give people incentive to give me a phone number or put me in contact with someone. I don’t see how it could hurt.

I would e willing to offer up my lease/club for you to come catch and kill some pigs. Would have to check with other members(mainly the president), but I don’t think they would mind. We are in north Tuscaloosa county

Just what I am seeing most don't want dogs or hogs on their property these days. You may have to sign a waiver that you will not be bringing the dogs on the property of a stalk hunting club to get in.

I put it in the post because I am only interested in a club that I can catch hogs on. The type of club I am looking for very seldom has openings which is why I’m having so much trouble. Most of these clubs like I am searching for already let people come in from time to time and hunt hogs with dogs but most hog hunters will not fork out the kind of money it takes to join one of these clubs. Low membership turnover over is the main problem I’m having.

I can point you in the direction of a club in Okeechobee, FL that will allow it if you're willing to travel.

About 12 years ago I was working with a 7,000 acre development down here. One day I saw a bunch of dang hogs on one of the roads so I contacted a friend of mine that had some good hog dogs. Fist day he caught 4 or 5 and then the ownership's wives found out about it. No more hog hunting with anything. Now the place is overrun with them and they can't figure out why..
