I've seen a bunch of Japanese Climbing Fern here in central AL last summer . It covers the ground, but quickly finds trees or bushes or anything and turns upward. It stayed green here on my place in Elmore Co until the really cold weather hit. I spray every sprig I see, but I know I'm not getting it all.
