Most of the roads on skyline won’t be passable until the snow melts off early April anyway Helluva snowpack up there in mid-March. Not sure how anyone who lives in Hytop or Skyline survives.

They're fortunate that Jackson county has the best deer and turkey hunting in the state so they can live off of the land

Well I got a wife and kids who like the beach and my condo lady gives me a great deal on spring break week. I got no private land to hunt so I can’t go til 24th.

Every spring I think about taking my stuff and driving over to Perdido one morning.

The key is knowing where they are baiting and trapping at between now and then.

The key is knowing where they are baiting and trapping at between now and then. Great idea Not too difficult to find on some WMA's. Signs were posted on certain gates during deer season. Bait sites are being conducted on certain food plots. One of the grad students doing research told me they weren't just studying turkeys though. They were baiting for eagles as well with carcasses. I wouldn't think they would be working the two on the same plots though.
