Y'all help me out here and tell me how in the world this is happening. I have been talking to a woman for 3 weeks now. Her ex husband has put some kinda something on her phone where he is able to drop in on our texts and send messages from her when it's a private text between just her and I. I have never seen anything like it. I mean we was texting earlier and I told her goodnight and the next thing that popped up was a pic of him doing some kinda gay ass kissing face and then he started talking chit to her..This is happening on mine and her personal texts and he is somehow sending the messages as if it's her doing it. How the hell is that even possible????

He work for FBI/CIA? Sounds like a loser regardless.

I'd file a harassment claim with the local PD and have that mess stopped tonight before I went to bed.

He's a P.E teacher and they have been divorced 2 years. She gave him a $150k river lot she bought and paid for on her own just so he'd sign the divorce papers...and this guy is 54 years old.

I would suggest her getting her phone completely factory hard reset and then look into something like Whatsapp.

With today's apps anything's possible. When's the last time he's been in contact with her phone?

My guess is that he is loging into her cell accunt on a computer. She should change passwords if she can.

I think she was around him sometime around Christmas. He started some stuff with her last week and she got weird messages and I told her then he had put some kinda spy app on her phone so she done a factory reset on it and it completely wiped everything off her phone. How he is doing this though is beyond me. I mean when that pic came through earlier I commenting back on why she sent it and she didn't have a clue what i was talking about. I screenshot it and sent it to her through Facebook and she wemt crazy about it. He then started sending messages talking chit about her and all of this is coming through as if she's sending it but I'm the only one getting the messages, she can't see em. I know someone has to know how this is happening.

The only problem with that is she owns a business where she has to stay in contact with multiple companies throughout the day that she's done business with for many years so it's not like she's just losing apps by getting a new phone and number. It would take her a while having to get everything for her business back on a new phone and having to contact ever one of her business contacts to make sure they change the number they have for her. She shouldn't have to do that especially with him being 54 years old and them being divorced 2 years but if it comes down to it she will have to.

Why would I run from another guy?? I will take care of it myself if it continues but running away from another guy is just silly as hell. He's the one that's doing this, not her.

She needs to go to the phone company, they should be able to figure it out...

She needs to file a report with the local PD or SO. They may not be able to arrest him for anything so far (like harassing communications), but having the report filed will help if things escalate. I would think that someone on here would be tech savvy enough to explain how the guy is able to send messages from her number without using her phone. But, a law enforcement agency with a cyber crimes specialist could probably explain how and what can be done to prevent it. Does she have children with the guy? If she is going to have to continue to deal with him because of children together, things may get a lot messier.

Doing a factory reset wont clear the phones memory its all still there it still needs to be writen over to clear it completely. she needs to factory reset once then install a "device memory fill app" fill the memory with it to 100% takes a couple hours then reset again that will completely wipe anything that may still be on the phone. I do it before i sell an old phone or trade one in

I havent messed around with this kinda stuff in a while but there are several ways to do it.

Is it an Iphone and they are still running a shared Apple ID? That is the easiest way to do it and si cr she has done a hard reset this is the most likely. My wife and I share an Apple ID and Apple update every once in a while will set my master phone to where her calls ring through to my phone. Can do this from a computer as well.

Samsung / droids can work same way but more difficult to do with shared access.

You can jailbreak a phone to do it but at 54 years of age he would need help unless he is into phones / IT for a living and doing it this way is illegal.
