yep. My nephew has been in the hospital for 3 days. Both of my boys (10 & 16) are down with the flu.

Prayers sent for a quick recovery.
With one daughter in high school, one working after college classes in a day care and a wife that teaches preschool, I am amazed that it has not stormed through our house yet.

My 5 yo boy has it too. He has Type B strain which is much milder than Type A, especially with a flu shot. Hope she has B and gets over it soon. Luckily, the doc said they’re seeing way fewer cases of Type A and hopefully it’s getting out of here.

I’ve got a 7 week old and I thought my wife was just being over protective by not wanting to take her out in public...until I saw how bad the flu is and how quickly it can send you to the hospital

Prayers sent for your baby girl. Keep an eye on her. Just to encourage you, my little girl, who's 4, had type B 4 weeks ago, followed by type A two weeks ago. Followed by a ruptured eardrum last week. She's pulled through each one and is doing great! These little ones are resilient, but please do keep your eyes on her.

Follow the doc’s recommendations, keep her hydrated and she’ll be fine. Prayers up for y’all. Take care of that little one pal.

They are resilient! So sorry to hear about that. That’s some tough stuff she and her parents been through. Maybe she’s done with illnesses for the year!

Prayers sent for your little angel. I hate it when little ones are sick. Make sure to take her for ice cream when she gets feeling better.

It kills my soul for little ones to be sick. Prayers sent for your little girl and all the other little ones battling this flu. Watch her closely. This stuff is not something to treat like we all have in the past.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Hate to hear it. Sucks as a parent when your little one is sick and you're helpless. Take care of her and God bless.
