That may be hard for some of yall to nderstand. but that dog may be from grandchampion bloodline going back generations and is the seed for his future dogs. Dogs he's spent alot of time with and are high caliber hunting dogs.

If they love the animal that much or it's worth that much then that's all the more reason to take good care of it and keep it on your land. I have some guns that as a collector I am quite proud of. If someone broke in my house and stole them I'd be pissed. On the other hand if I left one laying on the ground in a Walmart parking lot and it disappeared before I returned, I would consider that my fault.
