With all the talk about coyotes, I'm curious as to how many each of you have seen this season.

Personally I've seen only 1 but I'm in a bit of a residential/rural area. LOTS of neighborhood dogs which I assume might have some kind of influence on keeping the coyotes away. No way for me to know that for sure, but that's what I base my lack of sightings on. Very few on camera as well.

Seen one, heard a heep yelpibg at dark. Freakin creepy.

I've saw two, was able to smash one. But cameras are an entirely different story. I've been running 5-7 cameras at probably a dozen different spots on numerous different tracts of land since the start of November. I check them about every 2-3 weeks. I'd say on ~75%+ of checks I've had a coyote on camera. Numbers are pretty ridiculous around here!

Killed 7 this season. Seen 2 more I couldn’t get a shot on. Total of 21 killed since the end of last Deer season. Talked to my neighbor today he had his land trapped early fall (3000 ac.) and they got 28
He doesn’t deer hunt so doesnt shoot many. Got 2 on cams lastnight.

Hadn’t seen any. Hadn’t seen any on trail cam. But do have a couple photos of bobcat. I’m in the ‘burbs

I’ve seen 1 in the stand and had 3 or 4 on camera. But they’re nocturnal like the deers

I've seen two so far and had two more on camera. Got to pet one of them.

I have not seen any and only had two on camera. I guess that’s why we are overrun with those stupid turkeys

I've killed 3 so far, and let a black one get away that I'm still getting on trail cam. My neighbor also missed one on my place. We have a small 400 acre lease and people dump carcasses on our south and east borders off the county road. They have plenty to eat

I’ve seen 0 this year but have had several on cam.

I haven’t seen one but heard some one afternoon.

I have three coyotes on property I'm on now and they run in a little group. They're all going to die in about two weeks of lead poisoning.

I typically hear a couple of different packs near our home at night, but have not that I can recall in the last two years.

I've seen quite a few this year:
-Saw 4 one afternoon (1 HUGE one, 2 big ones, and a little turd) in bow season that I couldn't get a shot on right at dark that circled downwind of me then seemed to track back to my truck.
-Saw 1 on a morning hunt in bow season and killed it (first coyote with a bow).
-Saw 1 on an evening gun hunt and killed it.
-Saw 1 on a rainy morning hunt but was too thick for a shot as it was running down the ridge into the bottom where a pack had fired up yipping/barking/howling.
-Saw 2 running through along far side of thick creek SMZ one afternoon and another while climbing down at dark.
-Have heard multiple packs light up at all different hours (daybreak, 11 AM, 4PM, dusk) and quite a few on cameras.

Hate them.

I have only seen 1 this year and couldn't change seats in the shooting house with the wife to get on it. I actually rarely see them but a couple of the guys that I hunt with kill several apiece every year. For some reason those guys are yote magnets.

Seen one at the house, few on cameras and hear them howl regularly. They have increased in number at the house

I hear from numerous people if you drive from 65 to Trussville on 459 late at night you may see 3 or more. Just never remember seeing them like last couple of years. Went to Bankhead years ago and heard those things yelping and running all around right at dark.

Seen 4, killed 1. Hear what seems to be hundreds.....

Killed a big bobcat and a big yote this season. Have ran cams since September and had 0 pictures of either variety. I guess I just caught the couple local piddlers passing through.

Seen 5 (4 in one day) and offed 3. The last was a pup that came in on a doe bleat I was trying out.
