We see tracks all over, see them on camera (at night) and hear them howling at dusk. I think our coyotes are primarily nocturnal and or they are smarter than deer, because we rarely see them.

I've seen 4, 2 of those went to sleep forever. A bunch more on camera, I hope to tangle with them soon.

I've seen 7 this season on 5 hunts, never seen one in deer season until this yr. 2 of them took a dirt nap and a 3rd left squealin.

Seen 4 total. Killed 3 of them.

Couple new ones on cam this year in a new spot. One looks to be about 50 lbs - huge! Haven't seen the "regular" that would walk the logging road at 11 am.

If you are seeing them in the daylight consider you are over run with them.

I was seeing 1-2 here or there on one place I hunt. I was seeing a lot of tracks though and turds in the road, etc. I would see 1-2 in the hay field during the summer, etc. But didn't have a rifle on the tractor, etc.

I tried to call/shoot them. Figured out that wasn't effective enough.

Started trapping and thus far have caught around 18 total along with several stray dogs. I'd put the number around 22-25 total.

Would not have guess I'd have caught 18 on the place. Figured there were a few around but not that many.

Saw 1, killed 1.

Saw 6 and killed 3-

Three were running together one day and the other two were hard to hit running at 300 yards after I rolled the first one. I went ahead and emptied the gun on them just for kicks. Another day 2 were running together in a clear cut. I flopped the first one and emptied the gun on the second one running wide open to no avail.

Have seen only one and couldn't get a shot at him.

seen one early season and was seeing deer in that spot pretty regular so i let him pass..Should have lit him up..Thats the first one i have seen in a couple years

Y'all seeing them while out hunting mostly, or some kills by trapping? Seeing them on camera, but never when in the woods. My boys want to kill some after deer season ends. Any tips on calling them?

Mostly while hunting. Some my dad shoots in a hayfield off his porch.
Never had any luck calling them. 95% of my place is grown hardwoods so they have to get in pretty close for a shot. I think I had one coming in onetime but he hung up in some thick stuff at 150yds. I've heard they will come to a rabbit distress but I haven't seen a rabbit here in 20yrs so I doubt they know what it sounds like. I may try a fawn distress late summer because I am convinced they kill fawns.
