Whatever you want to believe is fine by me. I could not care less it is just my opinion and I may very well be wrong. If those genetics look like they came from South Alabama to you go with it. They don't to me.

Franklin Forest is at Sherwood and you could roll a wheelchair from Elora, TN into Madison Co. Sewanee is the same bunch of mountains.

I have confirmed one thing though... to have such a strong opinion you sure as hail don't know what you are talking about.

The theory you're laying out and I don't know what I'm talking bout, that's rich. I'll lay this fact out there, bucks are living longer now , they can express their antler traits better. I bet $ y'all didn't kill many 4 YO plus deer on Clear Creek 30 years ago (BTW, those Clear Creek deer were released across the road on the Jones Farm.) Nobody did. Every now and then a stud would live long enough to get big.

The deer released in Jackson came from I believe 3 locations in LA, they didn't live long there either. Do we really know what they would look like with good soil and age? I'd say they are in better Terra now also.

If we're gonna deal in far fetched, outside influence theories , I'll give a couple. Could be native genes, how about Redstone/Wheeler, heck I'll cast a wide net , Bankhead. Or it could be LA genes as stated above, just better chow and age now.

I've been 50 years in the hollers and mountains of PRV Skyline area , bring your wheelchair I'd like to see that show.
